How do I import contacts from another program such as outlook?

You will need to export your contacts as a .csv file. To do this in Outlook, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the File tab
  2. Select Options
  3. Select Advanced
  4. Click the Export button in the Export section
  5. Follow the Wizard Steps
    • Make sure to select Export to a file as the action
    • On the Create a file of type window, choose Comma Separated Values (Windows) if you are on a windows machine

Preparing the .csv file for import

  1. To make the import smooth, you may want to open the .csv file in excel or another spreadsheet editor and format the file using the following categories.
    • Prefix, Title, First Name, Last Name, Salesperson, Department, Account, Lead Source, Description, Primary Address, Secondary Address, Do not call, Home Phone, Fax, Mobile, Email, Work Phone
  2. Save the updated file as .csv

Import to Reflect

  1. Go to the tab that you would like to import data to, such as the Contacts tab
  2. Click the Import button on the toolbar
  3. Double click the field below Matching Import Fields and select the field from the dropdown list that matches the Contact Fields field
  4. Enter the row that your data begins in the Start from row: text box
  5. When all fields have been matched, click the OK button
