MEO Versions

To find out what version of the software you are currently using, click Help on the menu bar at the top of the program's window (not the Help button on the toolbar), and then click "About MEO Encryption Software".

If you want to try the new version but want to be able to restore the old version, please backup your Program Files sub folder containing the software. You will need to do this if you want to be able to restore the old version again.

You are under no obligation to upgrade; if you are happy with your current version we suggest you keep using it.

Version 2.12

Windows Version Release:
  • Fixed after initial launch the default directory is at system32
  • Fixed WinXP creates crypted.zip during each decryption process
