Yes, VideoPad can capture video from your DV based camcorder, or any other external device connected to your computer. This may include TV capture cards, VHS players, webcams and more.

Capturing your video using VideoPad is a simple process. Just connect your camera, open VideoPad and press the 'Capture' button on the toolbar. A special dialog will appear where you can rewind, fast forward and play your video. To record, you just hit the record button and VideoPad will begin capturing to the designated location on your PC. Your captured video will also be automatically added to your VideoPad project once you press stop.
