Can I change the speed of my videos or play them backwards?

Yes. Select the clip in the sequence and click the Effects tab. Click the speed effect and you’ll see the Speed Change options in the panel left of the effects list. Use the slider to speed up or slow down the clip. A 100% position plays the clip at normal speed. A 50% position plays the clip at half speed. A 200% position plays the clip at double speed.

To play the clip backward, select the ‘Play clip backwards’ option on the Speed Change effect panel.

To preview any changes made on the speed change panel, click the Play button on the preview panel, which is the upper right section of the main screen.
