Download Tone Generator Software. Follow the installation instructions and then launch the white noise generator program on your computer to begin generating a white noise signal.
2. Generate White Noise
In the top toolbar, navigate to the Tone menu and under the dropdown, select White Noise. Click the Play button to play the white noise audio. Click the Stop button to stop playing the white noise.
To only play the white noise for a specific duration, under the Tone dropdown, select Constant (Specific duration). In the main interface, under the Values column, double click the duration to set the duration time for when the white noise should automatically stop playing.
3. Save White Noise as Audio File [Optional]
If you want to save white noise as a WAV audio file so you can play it from your phone or another device, click the Save button and save the generated white noise audio file.
