Do you wish to blur/censor moving objects in your videos to protect the privacy of individuals? Or do you like to add a mysterious and cinematic feel to your footage with blurred content? This feature can become quite important to your videos if you wish to protect someone's identity or hide sensitive information like car registration numbers, brand logos, and private information. Don't worry, it's easy, here's the entire process step by step.

Step 1: Drag and drop the video

Drag all the items of your video clip into the timeline along with the censored image that you wish to use to protect the user's privacy. Here we are using a square box.

Step 2: Choose Effects and select Scale

Now, right-click on the censored image (square box) and choose 'Effects'. In the pop-up select the option 'Scale'. From here, you can scale the image properly on the object you wish to hide. Here in this example, we are hiding a person's face.

Step 3: Click Animate Button

Click the animated button and drag along the full timeline in order to cover the object across the complete timeline.

Step 4: Select Add Keyframes button

Every time you see the censored image depart from the object, you need to adjust the censored content and click the 'Add Keyframe' button just right of the animate button. Keep repeating this step until the object is fully censored as required.

Step 5: Play and test the clip

After finishing the keyframing, press the space bar and play the whole clip to make sure all the work is aligned.
