Can I extract the audio from the video as a separate file to edit?

Yes. You can separate audio from a video file, then edit the new file.

1. Add the video to your Video Files bin
2. Right-click on the video and select Save Linked Audio Clip as New File
• The new file will be in the Audio Files bin
3. Right-click on the audio file and select Edit Outside of VideoPad
4. This will open the audio track in WavePad audio editor
