How do I fix the error "Router configuration required"?

This error will appear if the software has detected a firewall on your computer or router, and the firewall is preventing you from setting up your software for Remote Access.

Mac OS X includes a default firewall software. You can learn how to modify it by reading Apple's help pages: Mac OS X v10.5, 10.6: About the Application Firewall

You may be using a different firewall, such as a software-based firewall, or a firewall that comes installed on your router.
