How do I set up my server to work with a local area network or public?

You should have 2 server IP addresses. Your local area network and your Public IP. Depending on which IP scheme you are using in your office would depend on your local IP address.
Example: 192.168.1.200:89. Using your public IP will allow for users outside your network to connect. If you are not sure what your Public IP is then you can type in www.whatismyip.com. Also your server should use a static IP address, one that does not change. Also you will need to open port :89 on your router and firewall.
