Can I change the speed of my videos or play them backwards?

Yes. Select the clip in the sequence and click the triangle on the Effects button on the Home tab toolbar and select Change Clip Speed from the submenu. This opens the Enter New Clip Speed Percentage window. Change the speed by entering a new percentage. 100% position plays the clip at normal speed. 50% plays the clip at half speed. 200% plays the clip at double speed.

To play the clip backward, select the Play clip in reverse option below the Speed % control.

To preview any changes made on the speed change panel, click the Play button on the preview panel, which is the upper right section of the main screen.
