Can I use VideoPad to rotate video clips?

Yes. Add the video clip to sequence and then select it. Click the Effects button on the Home tab toolbar to open the Video Effects window.

Add a Stagnant Rotation to a Video

In the Video Effects window that appears, the Motion effect will already be selected, and one of the parameters of Motion is Rotation. Use the slider to adjust the rotation of the clip, or enter a value from 0-360 in the text field. You can view a preview of the rotation in the preview area in the right side of the window. When the rotation is set, click Close to save the rotation.

Add an Animated Rotation to a Video

To make the video rotate as an animation, you'll need to use keyframes. In the upper right corner of the Applied Effects pane of the Video Effects window, you'll see a light blue button with lines and dots on it. Click this button to expand the keyframes pane. For the Rotation parameter, add a dot to the blue line where the rotation should begin, and drag the dot up to increase the rotation speed. Add another dot where the rotation should end. You can play around with the speed of the rotation by changing the heights of the dots. Click Close to save the animated rotation.
